Another cook.

This morning as I was cooking breakfast Gracyn had to have a helping hand in fixing scambled eggs. Some day she can handle this by herself.

Chilling out.

Cousin Shirley gave each of the girls a shirt last night and they loved them. They are showing them off. They have a donkey on the front of them. So I guess Stacy and Jill will have to keep them washed. Thank you Shirley. We do love you and Jerry.

Tomatoes

Addie, Ava and Gracyn picking tomatoes. Taking this job very serious.

I am not sure about this.

Ava is not sure she is ready for this.

Look at me

Addie is really brave to be sitting on this donkeys back. Look at that sweet little smile.

Getting ready for the ride

Family

Yeasterday I had Jerry's family over to eat and just hang out. We had such a good time. It is always nice when families can get together and enjoy time with each other. Seems like everybody is so busy it is hard to find time for this. Jerry's cousion Shirley took us on a hay ride and the kids loved every minute of this. She took us up to her barn where the donkeys are and the kids got to spend time with them. They got the brushes out and brushed them and just played with them. My bunch would stay up there for hours just playing with the donkeys but of course the donkeys don't want none of that. I want to Thank Jerry and Shirley for sharing the donkeys with the kids. They all truly love every minute of the time they spend with them. Addie and Ava are beginning to warm up to them. Shirley took us over to Jimmys and Janes and the girls got to pick tomatoes. They really thought this was something. They had a good time and I hope every one enjoyed it. Jill ,Matt and Gracyn spent the night with us. Left today sure do miss Gracyn. Here is a picture of Jerry's family. Doe, Jerry, Jimmy, Gloria, Dad and Judy. Hope we can have many more get togethers. Love this family. Glad to be a part of it.

Jerry's dad, sister Judy, her son Jared and his son Grady. as you can tell Grady was not much happy about this posing for the camara.

Learning to ride a horse.

Ella Kate has been wanting to ride a horse fora couple of years. Where she lives there is a horse stable close by. Every time I take the girls up there she always ask Nana can I ride the horses? So a couple of weeks ago I had taken the gilrls up there one afternoon and the man who works there his son was riding his horse and he asked if Ella Kate wanted to ride and of course she said please Nana let me. So she had her first horse ride and guess what I didn't have no camera no phone to call Stacy to bring one so no pictures of the first time but this past Thursday afternoon we were back up there and Mr. Bruce saddled the horse (whose name is Rowdy) up and she got to ride again. This time I was smart and had my camara so I got some pictures. Ella Kate loves this. She has a smile on her face from the time she climbs on Rowdys back until she gets off. She keeps telling Mr. Bruce I do it by myself. So this time he lets her lead it by herself. John came up to watch her and I think at first he was kinda scared to see her on a big horse like that but then he seen how gentle the horse was and he could see how much Ella Kate was loving it so he was alright. Addie and Ava don't want no part of the horse rides. They keep saying Ella rides horse.I am so happy that I can be a part of the things the girls love doing. I just thank God for sending me such wonderful grandchildren and most of all for being healthy. I am so happy to be their NANA. They sure do make my life complete. I just love the time I get to spend with them and share in all of the adventures they have. I thank John and Stacy for giving me the opportunity to share in this time of their lives. I do love them so so much.
