Final Walk

In life we live and there comes a time when we are called home to be with the Lord. So on October 26 Jerry's dad Herbert Sells passed away. He was 95 years old. He was a great Father, Father-in-law, Papa,a Great Papa and also a brother. He had many many friends in life and everywhere he went he always enjoyed talking to them. He always had something to talk about. My son-in-laws always enjoyed sitting down and listening to him tell them things. He always loved life and loved his family. He was a good christen man.For the last couple of years his health had gradually gotten worse and the Lord decided his time on earth was over and he called him home. In life he had seen so many different changes take place. He lived through them and lived a long life. In life he loved his family his home and his farm, but his one love was raising horses. He raised 99 colts and he wanted that 100th but it just wasn't to be. Because of this love his Grandson Josh payed his Papa the greatest tribute he could think of, he had his Papa's body carried to the final destination in a wagon that Herbert had built himself and pulled by a beautiful pair of horses. If Herbert could have told you he would have said this would have been the way he wanted his final ride to be and he would have been so happy. Josh we all love you for thinking of this and paying this tribute to him. He will be missed so much by his family, but we know he is home now with the Lord.

Florida

We finally arrived in Destin Flordia, tired and hungry. The girls did so good on such a long trip. They just couldn't wait to get there. Ella Kate asked about a million times how much longer. We went to Hamburger Paradise to eat and it was very very good. The girls were so excited to be here. They couldn't wait to get on the beach and play in the sand and the water. We had such a good time all week. We stayed on the beach a lot and the girls enjoyed every minute of it. I enjoyed being with my precious girls all week. They took turns sleeping with me. I think Ava slept with me every night but one. They are so sweet when they wake up in the mornings. The week went by to fast . Seemed like we just got there and it was time to come back home. On Friday it turned cold and we didn't get to be on the beach much and on Sat. when we left it was really cool. Sure did hate to come back home and go back to school. But maybe next year we can go again. The girls are already wanting to go back to the beach house. This is what Ella Kate named the condo we stayed at. Last year when we went , she also named that condo The Beach House.Wish Gracyn could have been with us. She had already been in July. Thanks John and Stacy for taking me with you and the girls. Enjoyed every minute of it. Love you.

GO RODNEY......................

Tonight my sisters Linda, and Shirley and my 2 nieces and myself went to the Rodney Atkins concert. It was an awesome concert. Phil Vasser opened for him. The songs were great. I could have listened to them all night. The crowd went wild when they came on stage and started singing. Phil sang for about half the time and Rodney the rest of the time. I sure do love these boys. The pictures are not very plain. WE sure had a great time.

FUN FUN

Just look at these sweet little girls. They sure are having fun. Ella Kate decided on Sat. that she wanted to ride her gator instead of the big gator. For some reason she has not wanted to ride it much this summer. Am glad she decided to do this because they sure had loads of fun. Just loof at the smiles on the faces.

This past week-end these 3 wonderful little girls spent the night with us and on Sat. we got to play outside and needless to say they had a ball. They spent the day riding gators. As you can see they need another seat on the small gator. They sure did have fun. Of course they had to show off for Pa.
